WHY?

Dr. Madison grew up in Portland, Oregon, and was fortunate to train in pediatrics in her hometown at OHSU. She came to Hillsboro because of her passion for providing medical care to a diverse community where she could serve patients in both Spanish and English. Her training took her to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the U.S. southern border in El Paso, Texas. She has a deep appreciation for learning about new cultures and feels humbled by the shared human experiences across the globe. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter walking in the park, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. Madison chose to work in pediatrics because she believes that primary care is rewarding for its unique opportunity to partner with families over many years. She has profound respect for anyone who chooses to become a parent and enjoys working with patients of all ages. She finds joy in every stage of growth, with a particular interest in healthy lifestyle management and mental health. She likes to give back to her community by serving as a trainer for the Oregon Pediatric Society’s suicide prevention program, teaching physicians how to assess and support suicidal youth in the community.

Dr. Madison is usually at our Orenco location on Fridays.
