We are currently seeking a Full-time Pediatric Phone Triage RN/Care Coordinator and Certified Medical Assistant.

Pediatric Triage RN and Care Coordinator

We are looking for a Full-Time Phone Triage RN and Care Coordinator to join our clinical staff department. Our Triage RNs provide patient-centered telephone advice and care coordination with patient education utilizing guidelines approved by the medical staff. The telephone Advice Nurse/Care Coordinator is an experienced registered nurse who utilized the nursing process to evaluate patient needs over the telephone, adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.

The responsibilities for this position, but are not limited to, include:
  • Be accountable for direct and indirect quality patient-centered care according to individual needs.
  • Follow the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including pediatric adolescents and their parents or guardian.
  • Coordinate patient care with other members of the health care team.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Registered as an RN through the OSBN and current unencumbered license.
  • Experience: 2 years nursing experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
  • Speaks and writes English proficiently. Bilingual English/Spanish desired.

    Certified Medical Assistant

    We are looking for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant who will provide compassionate direct patient care in a clinic setting under the direction of a provider.

    The responsibilities for this position, but are not limited to, include:
  • Prepares patients for exams and procedures.
  • Completes necessary documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) including routing documents in the patients’ medical records.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including pediatric adolescents and their parents or guardian.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited MA program preferred, certification at time of hire.
  • Experience: One year of medical office experience- preferably in back office, Proficient computer skills (including Windows software: Word, Excel, etc.; EMR).
  • Speaks and writes English proficiently. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
