Now Accepting New Patients!

Welcome to Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic, your new medical home! Our team of dedicated Board Certified Pediatricians and Certified Nurse Practitioners are excitedly waiting to care for your child.

New Patients

General Information

Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic (HPC) has two locations to serve you. The primary location is located downtown Hillsboro on Main Street, the satellite location is located at the Orenco Station on Cornell Road. Our providers rotate between Main Street and the Orenco Station. See our Providers tab for details of when your provider may be at the Orenco location.

Care Teams

HPC is a Medical Home, which offers services through care teams. Each Provider is either part of the Penguin or Dolphin team. Our goal is to provider more consistency among the providers within the same care team, so if your child’s primary provider is not be available, we will try to schedule an appointment with another provider from the same care team.

OB/Peds Consult (Meet and Greet)

Please visit our Providers page for biographies and availability for new patients. Have additional questions? Call our office to schedule a free, no obligation, consultation appointment to meet one of our providers before your first visit.

Newborn Care

Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic cares for newborns through our Best Beginnings team. Best Beginnings focuses on the care of all newborns for their first 30 days of life, and includes extra support for breastfeeding parents. Please visit our Newborn Care page for more information.

Appointments

Most of our providers are currently accepting new patients. However, please visit our Providers page to see who is accepting new patients or additional siblings of their current patients.

We make every attempt to schedule appointments at a time that is convenient for you. Same day appointments for illnesses and injuries are usually available. We also offer extended hours at our Main Street clinic Monday thru Thursday from 8am-8pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm. Well Child Checks may be available during evening hours. Saturday appointments are usually limited to illness and injuries.

Our providers and staff work hard to prepare for your child’s visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance. The sooner you call, the sooner we can reschedule your child’s appointment and make that time available for another patient. If no notice or less than 1 hour notice is given, your appointment will result in a “no show”.

New patients are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes early to their first appointment to allow time for completing registration paperwork. If paperwork is not completed by the scheduled time of the appointment, we may have to reschedule this first appointment.

If the patient is under the age of 15 years, a legal parent or guardian must accompany the child. This adult must provide their own photo ID, the child’s insurance card and a completed new patient packet. You can download our New Patient Packet and fill it out prior to the visit.

First Appointment Check List

  • Completed New Patient Packet
  • Parent/Guardian Photo ID
  • Immunization Record
  • Insurance card

  • Previous doctor records (if you have them)
  • Notes and questions for the doctor

Insurances & Forms

We work with most major insurance companies and are happy to bill your insurance directly. We kindly ask that parents or guardians make sure we are in‑network with your health plan. If your insurance changes at any time, please let us know right away so we can keep your account up to date and avoid unexpected charges.

Parents or guardians are responsible for making timely payments for any services provided and be prepared to make any co-payments required by your insurance.

If you don’t see your health plan listed below, just give us a call. We can double‑check this for you since some insurance cards don’t clearly show the health plan.
