Why?

Dr. Young grew up in the Pacific Northwest and decided to travel and study medicine elsewhere. He and his family were excited to return to the Pacific Northwest, and Hillsboro’s strong sense of community and natural beauty drew them in. His family includes his wife, two daughters and a cat. When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Young enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, pickleball and Frisbee. He also enjoys some quiet time listening to audiobooks or playing board games.

Dr. Young loves being a Pediatrician because he gets the unique opportunity to work closely with whole families. He wants to build strong and trusting relationships with each family he connects with over the years. Secretly, Dr. Young loves hearing about popular characters from kids’ books and shows. He is passionate about preventive care, hoping to help families build a successful foundation for a lifetime of health and happiness. He also understands the impacts of social influences and hopes to promote health through a pathway based on the family’s needs.

Dr. Young is usually at our Orenco location on Tuesdays.
