Why?

Anne grew up in North Plains and the surrounding areas of Hillsboro and has seen first-hand the impact that a strong community can have on its people. This is a beautiful place full of diversity, joy, and resilience, with a kind and hard-working population.  She wanted to be able to give back and serve the people and community that has continued to sustain her for so long. In her spare time, you can find Anne thrifting, hiking, chasing waterfalls, or otherwise exploring the great outdoors.

Anne recently graduated from the University of Oregon’s Ballmer Institute, where she received hands-on training and supervision while earning her degree in Children’s Behavioral Health. She specializes in working in the range of early to middle childhood, utilizing evidence-based interventions with an emphasis on emotional regulation, opposite action, and behavioral contingencies. Mental and behavioral health starts in pediatrics, but it often goes unnoticed in this younger population until things escalate later in youth’s lives. By working to identify concerns and intervene early on, we can prevent these small behaviors from becoming larger scale issues, and in turn will have better outcomes for our young ones.
